RE: Increase size of REDO log

You also might need to do an
alter database checkpoint;
if you get a particular error when you try to drop the log (don't remember it offhand, I always recognize it when I see it :).

First,

Check for the one that is not the current one.

Select * from V$log;

ALTER DATABASE DROP LOGFILE '/u01/oradata/orcl/redo01.log';

delete the file manually

ALTER DATABASE ADD LOGFILE '/u01/oradata/orcl/redo01.log' size 30M;

Change your size to your desire one.

For the other ones do the same.

To change the active one.

ALTER SYSTEM SWITCH LOGFILE; hth
