Hi All,
Has anybody upgraded people tools 7.5 to 8 already?
If so, have you found a solution for the high amount of parsing the app does (a lot of statements are parsed twice and executed once.)
Also I see that a lot of almost identical statements in the sql area
(username difference) which indicated no use of bind variables for this
query. How is your experience with cursor_sharing=force (hear a lot about
bugs)
Any other thing you found that might improve things .mind you performance is not considered to be dramatic (apart from certain app generated sql) but before people start asking for performance imrovements I thought I'd be prepared.
any input apreciated.
TIA
