As of 8i and beyond you can bump that up to 200 users before it returns
benefits, this problem is related to memory issues.

Pardon me, but I believe I've read somewhere on MetaStink that if your database has less than 150 concurrent users you should not bother with MTS. I've followied that rule of thumb & it does appear correct.

Hello Bunyamin
I seem to miss something here.
If you have up to 50 concurrent users why do you use min_servers =100? I
think that you waste a lot of storage this way and this can cause the
computer to page a lot.
