Qs 1 Is Data Sent Thru SQL*Net Compressed before Transmitting over the Network ? Qs 2 In particular , in Standby Implementation Will Oracle Compress the Archival Files before Sending them VIA SQL*Net oto the Standby DRS Site Assuming LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST Set to "SERVICE=stby1 OPTIONAL REOPEN=60" on the prduction machine ? Qs 3 What Network Bandwidth be Required for Transmitting Archived Log files of Size 100 to 500 MB ? Qs 4 Any Advisable method of Reducing the Network Load when Trnsferring ?
