5/25 Sounds a Bit High.

Maybe you should check your waits and see if there is a contention for Block Headers and if so then try increasing it till u get a Pretty low number.

I have few tables with a lot of transaction by many users, I change the Initrans from 1 to 5 and for some to 25, My question is what's the best way to findout which value is the optimum value for INITRANS for each table? Thanks for Help.
