export using query

Hello All,

oracle 8i. solaris 2.7

can somebody clarify the flwng:

is the export using query supported joins.

eg:

exp scott/tiger tables=emp,dept query="where emp.deptno=dept.deptno"

when I tried this, I got error, invalid column name.

is this type of query supported.
