Fawzia - If you're going to this much effort, consider looking into locally managed tablespaces (LMT) with uniform extents. Then you won't have to tidy up again.

Does Oracle reccommend having the initial and next extents set at the same values???
I am tidying up a current schema and the values are non uniform all the way through- any comments would be very much appreciated
