RE: Export problem

Not to my knowledge.
You can exchange the data, but you need to use the old export utilities (7.3.3), then use the import utilities from 8.1.7 to import the data.

You might want to run the script $HOME/rdbms/admin/catexp7.sql in the 8.1.7 database.

Set you environment to use the 7.3.3 executables, then use a link to the 8.1.7 database to do the export.
