Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Finally....DBNEWID
Just a FYI...
Anyone using RMAN will know the "joy" of Rman getting
very upset if you pretty much do anything with a
database that has been cloned from another.
(According to the doco) in 9i.2, the rumoured DBNEWID
is now available so you can change the database id or
database name.
Cheers
Connor
