A project wants to move out of HP -N class to Sun platform in the database layer. So there are lots of options and details involved... Agreed.
Has anybody been through this kind of process where you had to make a SUN recommendation for Oracle database that is moving out of HP- N class (4 CPU x 550 Mhz, 6GB).
What would be a good recommendation, 3800, 4800? What are the factors to think about ....
