Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> DB Creation Question
9i on XP Prof. on DELL PC.
I used DB Config. Assist. to create a DB and it looked like it worked (I have not used this tool before). When I go out on the C drive I cannot find a subfolder with this DB name for the control files, redo logs, etc. Where can I look to determine if this DB was actually created? Is there a data dictionary view? I have not been able to login with SQL*Plus but that may be a tnsnames or listener problem.
Thanks,
Ken Janusz, CPIM
