The DBWRs are implemented as threads inside the ORACLE process (multi-threaded). This is beginning to sound like a Pern novel.

I see them onV$SESSION but There is only one process ORACLE.EXE in the processes list of NT still.
I do not understand the behaviour of ORacle on NT neither the Oracle I think.
