RE: Begin backup fails sporadically

Hi,

You're problem might be that your backup software is doing things in parallel. We use Omniback here and it happened here also.

When you next time have this problem check the v$backup table to verify that the file is not in backup mode, if this is tha case you proberly have to log a iTAR with support.
