Folks,
At IOUG-A I got some suggestions for some additional material that folks
would like to see in
the 9i New Features book. I'm talking to OP about the possibility of adding
some material
(and also perhaps a revised edition for 9iR2) to the book. If we do the
revised edition then
we can add perhaps a number of pages, and if I just add to the existing book
and not do a
revised edition, then I can add, say 16 pages or so.
For those of you who have the book, or have seen it, I'm wondering what you
would like to see
added to it. Again, I'll only have at most 16 pages to add if it's the
existing book, so it would have
to be short subject material (like a list of new and changed packages in
9i). Ideas, thoughts.
Also, a personal note, for those of you who bought the book, my thanks. It
has sold well and
I've gotten some great feedback (yea... I know about the typo's, sorry...
many are fixed in the
newest reprint going on now).... thanks again all of you! I look forward to
(hopefully) doing
the RMAN book and then doing the 10i New Features book (and maybe the 9iR2
book).
