Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> function based index problem
Hi,
We have created function based indexes on 2 tables using UPPER function.... one view is created on these tables that uses these function based indexes..... When i create the indexes and try to select from view i get error ORA-03113..... If i analyze these tables then select from view works fine.......
So next time I added analyze compute on these 2 tables in script immediately after creation of function based indexes.......
but select from view again fails with ora-03113...and if i run analyze from sqlplus now and run
select from view it works fine.......
Is this is expected behaviour or i am missing something???????
Environment is 9.0.1 on WIN 2k.
Thanks
