Installed Oracle OID, am using OracleContext and DefaultDomain, database was registered with ldap, certificates do work fine - ssl based connectivity and certificate based connectivity work fine - can't get running the ldap authentication. always get --- ORA-28278: No domain policy registered for password based GLOBAL users. --- what can i be doing wrong?

configured following the instructions in manual "advanced security - chapter 15 - part II and III work fine - then reconfiguring to part II and IV and i always get this ORA-28278

is there no default policy registered?

any idea
any help appreciated
