Latest news - I raised an iTAR with metalink
pointing out that I couldn't use a 9i database
in production with this bug in place. This is
now with developers looking at a backport, but
with no date for the backport currently predictable.
For reference - the bug number is 2121935. but I could only find it by going to the Advanced Search entering 2121935 in the search field, selecting Doc Id from the options, and ticking Bug Database before starting the search.
