archivelogs and rman

Hi

I would like to set up rman so that it backs up archivelogsand deletes them. However I want rman to delete those which are sysdate-2 (i.e. want to keep about a day or 2 archivelogs on disk so an os backup can also be performedfor  added precaution)..
would this be correct:

  backup

           format '/var/backups/oracle/rman/al_%d_s%s_p%p'
           ( archivelog until time 'SYSDATE-2' delete input );

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated
