You mean all this time my hints like the following:

where /*+ LET_ME_CHOOSE_THE_ORDER */
/*+ DO_ME_FIRST */ col1 = 12 and
/*+ NOT_ME_YET */ col2 = 13 and
/*+ WHEN_YOU_GET_A_MOMENT_TRY_ME */ col3 = 14
isn't going to work ?
