Time Zone convert

Hello, All:

In Oracle 8i, How can we convert day/time from the Time Zone that Oracle 8i does not support to GMT (or any other Time Zone)? (Oracle 8i only support about 13 convertions.)

I think someone just mentioned this a while ago, but I didn't write it down.
