Re: What are the major difference between Oracle RAC and Parallel server?

It is not completely true what others have said, that RAC is the same as OPS. RAC obviously builds on OPS, but there are quite a lot of enhancements to improve the cache coherency issues, and it is also expected that 9iR2 brings even more.
