I'm guessing you're using the sqlplusw client under windows. If so, I've had the same problem.
In sqlplusw, go to the options menu and choose environment Set the buffer width to 1000 and press ok. This has solved it for me.

Hi,
I set the linesize larger and the buffer etc..

I do get the scrollbar and there is data to the right of the screen, but the scrollbar just won't work
