Will applying the   archive logs only affect the restored datafile? For instance, if I have a hot   backup from Monday and all the archive logs to the current date and a disk   crashes which contains the datafile, can I restore just the datafile and apply   all the archive logs from Monday forward? Are changes only applied to the   restored datafile?
