RE: max_io_size

Patrice - I was unable to catch my sys admin before he left. I went to Google and did a search for max_io_size and received several interesting links. In one document it was referred to as the "operating system's maximum I/O size". On the Tru64, that is a very large number, so I suspect that you are unlikely to exceed the limit unless you're doing something really "cutting-edge".

I did a scan of the manuals for Tru64 UNIX at docs.oracle.com, but didn't find mention of it anywhere.

I want to set db_file_multiblock_read_count properly...
