First remember the old rule : If it's not broken don't fix it.

There is a rule of thumb that redo log switches should happened app. every 30 minutes, but if you se redo log switches happening more often at some times and nobody is complaining then just ignore the it. If you have a performance problem and you se redo log switches then create bigger redo logs so that switches happen app. every 30 minute.
