Check out the rda.sh script (Remote Diagnostic Assistant) that oracle provides on MetaLink (search rda.sh). It creates a very nice (& extensible) html report of everything you could want to know about your database.
>From MetaLink:
Purpose
RDA is a set of Unix shell scripts to gather detailed information from an
Oracle environment. The scripts are focused to collect information that will
aid in problem diagnosis, however the output is also very useful to see the
overall system configuration.
For Windows NT/2000, please see <Note:153091.1> "RDA for Windows".

Hi All,
I have come into a situation where most of the database systems are not
very well documented. Does anyone
have any templates, resources, links that may provide either a template or
example of what should be documented?
Thanks
Rick
