There are a couple of bulletins on Metalink that discuss interpreting the deadlock graph and the various types of issues that can cause a deadlock. I also found some info on the Adams site, www.ixora.com.au. Last but not least, do a search at http://groups.google.com/ on the words deadlock graph -- you will turn up even more info and links on the subject.
And if you like, post the deadlock graph to the list.
