Hi rymond!
You have to use an oracle8.1.5 version of "EXP" to export data to a dump file. Then u can import it in any higher version without trouble. Using the export tool of oracle version above then 8.1.5.. will cause problems.

EXP-00037- export views not compatible with database version .. ?
How can I resolve it ?
Currently I'm using Oracle 8.1.7...the database I wanted to exp is on 8.1.5...
I try to trigger the compatiable parameter in the init.ora to 8.1.1.....but still don't work ..???
Any advice ?
