Harvinder - The answer may depend somewhat on your platform. Have you
considered Oracle's partitioning option (extra-cost)?

Hi,
Is there is any drawback in using datafiles of big sizes. Our tablespace size is about 180G so does it okay to use data files of sizes 20G. Is > 20G or < 20G can give us some benefit.
Thanks
