Lindsay,

the check box for the scripts-option is only available if you generate a DB with DBCA without using a template. I.e. you must use the option "New Database" then you see in the last step
(step 8?)

the script-option

Hi,

I am trying to generate some generic CREATE DATABASE scripts from the Oracle Database Configuration assistant and I cannot see the "Generate Database Creation Scripts" option that is mentioned in the HELP. It is not listed on the screen with the "Create Database" and "Save as a Database Template" options.
