Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> ODBC & Microsoft Transaction Server
Hello,
The application frequently (several times per day) hangs. Restarting the MTS (Microsoft Transaction Server) (Package shutdown) resolves the problem and the users are able to work again. The database appears to be unaffected and appears ready to process.
The Oracle ODBC version is 8.01.74.00 7/24/01.
The Client on the MTS server is 8.1.7
The Server is 8.1.5 running on NT 4.0
I traced ODBC for awhile until after it hung the next time. Some of the things I saw that looked like errors are: SQLPOINTER 0x00000003 (BADMEM)
DIAG [IM006][Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver's SQL SetConnectAttr Failed(0)
SQLPOINTER [Unknown attribute 201]
Any help pointing me where to look for the root cause of this problem would be appreciated.
Thanks
