Well,

you can runt the sqllodader again and then include this line after the name ofthe control file.

log = C:\temp\error.log

and that creates a logfile where you can see what has happened. The problem you are having can be caused
by invalid length of the datafield in the database, or you have tried to insert a nullvalue inthe database where there is a constraint.

I am working on a control script that I have restricted to only loading 5 records as a test. Basically I am taking data from the load file and putting it into a table SQL Loader runs and gives me this.

SQL*Loader: Release 8.1.7.0.0 - Production on Mon Dec 3 15:22:26 2001

Commit point reached - logical record count 5

When I do a select on this table I get no rows selected.

I don't get an error message from SQL Loader.

So any ideas as to what the problem is?
