So which would you rather use?

That's what all this boils down to.. Would you rather use a less secure (yes I *DO* believe it is less secure) larger target, or the alternative that is stable and less of a target?

I know what my choice is..

which does not mean they're more secure

it just means that the "copy&paste hackers" obtain the cracks for IIS easier because it's a popular target
