Core dumps on NT don't record any errors in the
alert.log the way they do on Unix platforms. They
will typically create a <sid>CORE.LOG file in either
bdump, udump or the default
%ORACLE_HOME%\RDBMS73\TRACE directory. If you're lucky
it will contain a stack trace that might be useful to
help narrow down the common denominator.
Have you checked the event viewer for any errors? When was the last time the server was rebooted?
Given that this is a 7.3.3 db, however, there's not much advice I can give.
