Check out the Oracle Transparent Gateway for Sybase. I believe you install it along with the Sybase Open Client software, set up interfaces, set up and start a listener and you're ready to go. On the client box, set up tnsnames and the database link and the users, don't know where the data is coming from.

Is it possible to create a remote link from Oracle to Sybase? Can you point me in the direction of some documentation?
