Follow up...

My SA says we you have Washington Univ version of FTP you can restrict the users from navigating...
Is it the only way....

I think, sometime back, there was a thread on ftp, but I am not sure what was discussed in that.
Can anyone please let me know if there is anyway to control users coming into the system through ftp
from navigating to other directories? I am using .netrc for my ftp processes and
I would like to have something apart from setting permisions on directories. Env is: HP-UX 10.01, as you know it is unsupported and I don't have option of installing any patches/tools etc...
