George:

I'm not a sales guy, so I would definitely talk to Oracle for the most current pricing/configuration info (as well as discounts).

However, as of the 10/19/2001 price list, the costs are $15K/CPU for Standard Edition and $40K/CPU for Enterprise Edition. The named user licenses for the same are $300 and $800 respectively. At least that's according to the information that I have.

Don't forget that their are optional componenets such as RAC, Partitioning, Advanced Security, etc.
