Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> analyze causing waits on dlm cr request queue latch
Good morning/afternoon/evening.
An "analyze schema" job kicked off overnight (I believe it uses dbms_utility.analyze_schema, but I don't have access to the source at the moment) was still running when people came in to work this morning. Many user sessions began hanging with a wait on the dlm cr request queue latch. My understanding of dlm latches is that they are associated with Parallel Server systems, and this is not a Parallel Server database. Has anyone seen this before?
TIA,
