Oracle DBA with NT experience needed in San Antonio

Leading Financial Services company in San Antonio, Texas needs an Oracle DBA to join
its' I.T. staff.

This company has a preference for someone already living in Texas, however all candidates who are a solid match for the position will be considered.

This is a full time staff position so no sub-contractors or third parties please.

Responsibilities

· Provide comprehensive Oracle DBA support in Windows NT environment
· Perform Oracle installation, upgrades, database setup, database monitoring
and tuning,
  and backup and recovery
· Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
· Develop process and procedures for production database operations
 

 Requirements  

· 4+ years experience as an Oracle DBA in a Windows NT environment
· Oracle 8 and 8i experience
· Experience with Oracle Utilities, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, and Triggers
· Knowledge of database tools for analysis, reporting, and performance
· Data Modeling experience (ERwin, ERstudio, Designer 2000)
· Project management experience
· Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent working experience
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills are
essential
. U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency also required
