If you are using BULK COLLECT or BULK BIND, you have to specify a collection for each column. There is no workaround, this is a system limitation.
Welcome to wonderful world of 9i, you might be able to use a table of records, but you still can't assign a whole row type
i.e. you can't say
forall tab_emp.first .. tab_emp.last
insert into emp values tab_emp(i);
however, you must say
forall tab_emp.first .. tab_emp.last
insert into emp values tab_emp(i).ename, tab_emp(i).emp_sal;
