Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: what to check in alert.log
Alex,
Here's what I currently look for:
At the begging of a line ORA or TNS
Anywhere in the line 'crash' or 'recovery';
Sometimes generates more mail than I care for. :)

Any suggestions what to check for in alert.log besides ORA- ?
