Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> Re: Backup & Recovery Scenarios
Hi...
To implement backup&recovery strategy is depend on your Database/Application environment, there are 3 scenarios provided by Oracle for your Backup and Recovery strategy :
1. Offline Backup 2.Online Backup 3. Logical Backup
You can get more informations about those backup scenario from Oracle Web Site, Manual Books, or other resources. Then you can implement which one is the best for your environment.
Suppose the environment is in OLTP and the database must be 24 x 7 online, your backup strategy can be done like this : 1. Online Backup once in 2 days
This is just an example.
