RMAN Register database error v805

Hi,

I am setting up hot backups on our 8.0.5 database using RMAN. However, when I try and register the target database I receive the following error (see below).

I have setup RMAN hotbackups for versions 8.1.5 and above many times, but I can't figure out why this is not working!!!

Can someone please help me.
