multiple copies of jre.exe on one server

How many copies of jre.exe should be running on an iAS 1.0.2.2. server?

My server has four copies running, and the HTTP server NT service refuses to start.

I am wondering whether I should shut down all the Oracle Web-related components, kill.exe any remaining jre.exe processes, then start everything up again.

I would like to know why one copy of jre.exe isn't enough...
