Hi Listers....

 I don't intend to start off some sort of 'flame' here...

 But I really would like to know 'how' important  is an ERP DBA and 'how much' does he NEED to know..?

 I personally feel that with ERP products giving  an interface to the ERP DBA..there is NOT much  that an ERP DBA can do

 Can someone please tell 'what is the scope' of  an ERP DBA's activities?

 Sorry if I sound negative..but I really want  to know what is the career path for an ERP DBA,  particularly if 'the interface' he/she is using  is gone!

 Kindly respond..

 Kindly note that I have nothing but respect for  ALL humans and all professions (including the oldest one!).. but I still am struggling to understand the
 role of ERP DBA..

 Kindly help me understand better..
