i've just gotten a new laptop at work and went from running NT4.0 to Win2K. i have noticed that it's more stable and that i doesn't crash with app errors as often as NT. i'd rather have a unix variant running on it because i've used unix longer than windows, but that's more a comfort factor rather than an OS issue.
