Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: computer history stories - Now: Age discrimination?
Spot on, Rachel! I misguidedly joined Mensa several years ago, and let my membership lapse after a year or two, when it became clear the level of debate was as you describe. The overbearing aura of smugness in most of the magazine articles, and most members' inability to LISTEN at meetings just became too irritating. Mensa's really the Society for people who both have high IQs AND want everyone to know it!
