Is there a document somewhere that describes what the p1..., p2..., p3... fields are and what the different values mean? Some of the values are obvious, but some are rather cryptic. I am struggling with tuning a Clarify 8.5 SR2.9 instance and need to fix some issues. I just finished rebuilding the indexes into a separate tablespace from the data (the default when you run their index scripts is to leave them together). Now users are complaining that performance is actually worse!!? Yes, I did reanalyze everything. I have bumped up the DB_BLOCK_LRU_LATCHES TO 12*cpu count which was recommended in Gaja's white paper. I'm open to suggestions. I have users ready to take up arms over the performance issues.
TIA
