Home -> Community -> Mailing Lists -> Oracle-L -> RE: Lock contention
Take a look at www.vampired.net and under locks in the scripts section. There are a few good lock scripts, mainly the waiters.sql script.
I have a few others I use, I just haven't got them up on the site yet.

Hello,
How do I find out the sessions in the systems that are waiting for locks and corresponding locks. In other words, how, an sql script will really help, will provide me if a lock contention is going on?
rgds,
raja
