For deleting a services: first, just in case, you
should export the registry, then erase the entry
related with the name of the service from
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/
About your problem, why don't you set the ORACLE_SID
on the HOME of the version you are using and on the
MS-DOS screen try with a set LOCAL=<ORACLE_SID>.
